Where do I search?
Click the Lisorto icon in the menu bar and type. The first result opens with Return, and every result shows where the file is and the line that matched.
Which files can it find?
Everything Lisorto filed into your Spaces: by name, by Space, and by the text inside, including scanned PDFs and screenshots.
Is search free?
Yes. Search is part of Lisorto Free. The index is one file on your Mac, and text that looks like a password or a card number stays out of it.
Does Lisorto ever delete my files?
No. It only moves and renames, and only after you approve. Copies go to their own Duplicates folder, and every move can be undone, one file or a whole batch at once.
Is it safe to let an app move my files?
You see every move before it happens. Right before moving, Lisorto checks that each file is still exactly the one you approved, never overwrites anything, and keeps a journal so even an interrupted batch is put right.
Do my files leave my Mac?
No. File names, their text, and the search index stay on your Mac. Cloud AI is optional and off by default; turn it on and you first see exactly what would be sent. Privacy.
