Installing
Open the downloaded file and drag Lisorto to Applications. It's signed and notarized by Apple, so macOS only asks the usual question about an app downloaded from the internet.
On first launch, pick a folder (Downloads is a good start). Lisorto shows where each file would go; nothing moves until you click Tidy up.
What Lisorto adds to your Mac
- The Lisorto app in Applications. The helper that reads documents and the updater are inside the app, so nothing else is installed: no other software, browser extensions, system extensions, or background services.
- An icon in the menu bar while it's open, and the shortcut ⇧⌘Space to search from any app. Change it or turn it off in Settings › Search.
- Access only to the folders you pick, and notifications only if you allow them: macOS asks you first.
- Opening at login only if you say yes. Lisorto offers it once, when you turn on AutoPilot; change it anytime in Settings › General.
- Its settings, History, and search index in one folder,
~/Library/Containers/app.lisorto.mac, and your Pro license in your login keychain. - Update checks: Lisorto looks for a new version on lisorto.app and tells you in the app. It installs one only when you choose Update.
- An anonymous count of installs, once, when it's first opened. Step counts and crash reports are sent only if you say yes. Privacy

Requirements
macOS 14 or later, on Apple Silicon or Intel. Clear names and AI on your Mac need an Apple Silicon Mac with macOS 26 and Apple Intelligence; on other Macs, Cloud AI does them with your consent.
