Does it work with iCloud Desktop and Documents?
Yes. Lisorto organizes Desktop and Documents even when iCloud keeps them in sync, and leaves files that are only in iCloud where they are.
Can it read my handwritten notes?
It reads printed and typed text in scans and screenshots with Apple’s text recognition on your Mac. Handwriting is recognized only as well as macOS reads it.
Does Lisorto ever delete my files?
No. It only moves and renames, and only after you approve. Copies go to their own Duplicates folder, and every move can be undone, one file or a whole batch at once.
Is it safe to let an app move my files?
You see every move before it happens. Right before moving, Lisorto checks that each file is still exactly the one you approved, never overwrites anything, and keeps a journal so even an interrupted batch is put right.
Do my files leave my Mac?
No. Lisorto reads them on your Mac, and the search index stays there. Cloud AI is optional and off by default: turn it on, and for a document your rules can’t place it sends a short text excerpt, never the file, after showing you exactly what would be sent. Privacy.
What does AutoPilot do?
It sorts new files the moment they land in a folder you chose, the same way Tidy up would, and names new screenshots and scans after what they show. Files it isn’t sure about wait for you, nothing is ever deleted, and every move is in History with Undo. Part of Lisorto Pro.
