Does Lisorto send my bills anywhere?
No. Documents are read on your Mac. Cloud AI is optional and off until you turn it on; even then it sends a short text excerpt of a document it can’t place, never whole files.
Can I find a bill by its amount?
Yes. Search reads the text inside documents, scans, and screenshots, so a company name, an amount, or an invoice number finds the file.
Is it accounting software?
No. Lisorto keeps the files tidy and findable; it doesn’t track expenses or prepare taxes. Your accountant gets ordinary PDFs in an ordinary folder.
Does Lisorto ever delete my files?
No. It only moves and renames, and only after you approve. Copies go to their own Duplicates folder, and every move can be undone, one file or a whole batch at once.
Is it safe to let an app move my files?
You see every move before it happens. Right before moving, Lisorto checks that each file is still exactly the one you approved, never overwrites anything, and keeps a journal so even an interrupted batch is put right.
Do my files leave my Mac?
No. Lisorto reads them on your Mac, and the search index stays there. Cloud AI is optional and off by default: turn it on, and for a document your rules can’t place it sends a short text excerpt, never the file, after showing you exactly what would be sent. Privacy.
What does AutoPilot do?
