Five questions to ask any AI file organizer
- Where does my file content go? Reading files is what makes an organizer smart, and it’s also the privacy question. Prefer one that reads on your Mac and asks before anything leaves it.
- Can I see the plan before it moves anything? A wrong move you didn’t see is worse than a messy folder.
- Can I undo everything? Not just the last file, but the whole run.
- Does it ever delete? Cleaning up and organizing are different jobs. An organizer shouldn’t need to delete anything.
- Can it read scans and screenshots? Those are the files with the least helpful names, like
scan0001.pdf, and the ones you most need to find later.
How Lisorto answers them
- On your Mac. Built-in rules place most files. Documents they can’t place are read by Apple Intelligence on your Mac (macOS 26, Apple Silicon). Cloud AI is optional, off by default, and shows what would be sent first.
- Plan first. Every move is listed before anything happens: the file, the Space it goes to, and why.
- One Undo. A whole tidy up goes back with one click, and History keeps every move.
- Nothing deleted, nothing overwritten. Duplicates are set aside, not removed.
- Scans and screenshots read on your Mac, so they get filed by what they say and you can find them by any word in them.
What it sorts into
Spaces are ordinary folders you see in Finder: Bills and receipts, Travel, Contracts and forms, Work, Reading, Screenshots, Images, Videos, Audio, Installers, Archives, and Documents, plus your own Spaces for a client, a project, or a company with Lisorto Pro. With AutoPilot, new files are filed as they land; unclear ones wait for you.
